Short version: we collect what you send us, we use it to reply and to do the work, and we don't sell it to anyone. The long version is below, in plain English.

01 · What we collect

When you fill in a form on this site, we get what you typed: your name, your email address, your business or website, what you're looking for, and anything you wrote in the message box. That's it — we don't ask for anything we don't need to reply properly.

If you email us directly, we have your email and whatever you sent. If you become a client, we also end up holding project material you share with us — logins, brand files, ad accounts, analytics access, invoices and billing details.

Like almost every website, our host records basic technical information when a page loads: IP address, browser type, the pages visited, and the site that referred you. We use it to keep the site working and to see roughly how many people visit.

02 · How we use it

To answer you, to scope and price work, to actually do the work, to send invoices, and to keep records we're legally required to keep. If you asked us to follow up later, we'll use your details to do exactly that.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or hand it to data brokers. We don't add you to a marketing list because you filled in a contact form — if we ever start a newsletter, you'll have to ask for it.

03 · Cookies and analytics

This site uses the minimum needed to function, plus privacy-friendly analytics so we can count visits and see which pages get read. We don't run advertising trackers here and we don't build profiles of visitors.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Nothing on this site breaks if you do.

04 · Who else sees it

Only the tools we need to run the studio: email and file storage, website infrastructure, analytics, accounting and payment processing, and — when a project calls for it — the platforms your own accounts live on, such as Webflow, Google, or Meta.

Each of those providers handles data under its own terms, and we only give them what they need to do their job. We'll also disclose information if the law genuinely requires it.

05 · How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't turn into projects: we keep the email thread for up to two years, in case you come back. Client records: for as long as we work together, plus the period our accountants and tax rules require afterwards. Ask us to delete something sooner and we will, unless we're legally obliged to hold it.

06 · Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can tell us to stop contacting you and we'll stop. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR or CCPA — we'll honour those requests either way.

Email madeulookdesign@outlook.com and we'll deal with it within 30 days. No forms, no hoops.

07 · Client projects

When we build or run something for you, we may process data belonging to your customers — form submissions, analytics, ad audiences. In that situation you're the owner of that data and we're working on your instructions. We don't use it for anything except your project.

We show finished work publicly, including on this site. If a project is confidential, tell us and it stays off the list.

08 · Security

Accounts are protected with strong, unique passwords and two-factor authentication wherever a platform offers it. Client credentials live in a password manager, not in a spreadsheet or an email thread. No system is perfect, but we treat your access like our own.

09 · Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant and you're an active client, we'll email you rather than hope you notice.

10 · Contact

Questions about any of this, or about what we hold on you, go to a person — not a ticket queue.
